About the section

The section was established within the Psychiatric Association of Uzbekistan on 11 May 2026 as a permanent platform for professional connection, exchange of experience and joint initiatives.

It brings together professionals up to age 40 working in psychiatry, addiction medicine and related mental-health fields. Its central aim is to develop their professional, educational and scientific potential.

The section’s work spans clinical education, research and publications, mentorship and leadership, career opportunities and international cooperation.

To develop the professional, educational and scientific potential of early-career specialists in psychiatry, addiction medicine and related fields.

The Association’s permanent professional platform for education, research, exchange of experience, mentorship and international cooperation.

Botirbek Vosiqov

Chair of the Early Career Section

A psychiatrist and assistant at the Department of Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. He graduated from Tashkent Medical Academy in 2020, completed a master’s degree in psychiatry in 2023 and has worked as a department assistant since then. He chairs the Early Career Mental Health Professionals Section and serves as Zonal Assistant Liaison Officer (ZALO) for Zone 10 of the WPA Early Career Psychiatrists Section.
